This week the Makeup Wars team is featuring our favorite drugstore lip products. I thought it would be fun to show my newest favorite, the L’Oreal Paris Infallible Pro Matte Gloss ($13.99 CAD).
The Pro Matte Gloss formula is basically a liquid lipstick. They have a beautiful lightweight velvety mousse texture, yet offer full opaque coverage in a single swipe. These feel so comfortable on the lips and there is no dry sensation, or drying out of the lips over time. Now these are not like your typical matte liquid lipstick that dries down to a long lasting finish. These stay creamy on the lips so you never have to worry about it flaking off or looking cakey and weird. These are promoted as being a long wearing formula but they do transfer so wear time will depend on the amount of eating and drinking you are doing. I still get at least 3 hours wear out of them and they leave a nice stain behind.

The applicator is really a joy to use. It deposits the colour thinly, and evenly, and the tapered tip allows you to apply with precision.

There are a total of 10 shades available. The four shades I tried are incredibly saturated and beautiful.
